Erica Bruewer, LMSW
I understand that at times, being human is hard. Going through challenges, changes, mistakes, and traumas, are all common life occurrences. It is natural to have psychological and physical reactions to these events. As your therapist, I will help support you by simply being a listening ear, as well as provide you with the opportunity to learn skills for behavioral change and symptom management.
I believe that transformation and growth occurs through collaboration of appropriate interventions with an increased self-awareness which can be explored through psychotherapy. My office is a judgment-free zone, a safe place for you to be yourself. I would be honored to hear your story and provide you with the care you need and deserve. I look forward to embarking on this journey of healing with you.
I achieved my Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University and my Bachelor of Applied Science in Family Studies and Human Development at Central Michigan University. I am licensed in the State of Michigan to provide psychotherapy and other social services.
I have previous professional experience in school social work, case management, in-patient substance abuse rehabilitation, outpatient mental health therapy, as well as vocational support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
